David Holder died of a heart attack, suddenly and without warning, at his home in Dubai on 27th December 2006. None of us could know how much we would miss this very special man until confronted by the void his absence would leave in our lives. When we look back, for many of us, some of our best and happiest times were those spent in David's company. He somehow touched the lives of everyone he met, but for those who would get to know and love David, their lives would be enriched beyond measure by the experience. This website is a place in which to remember, record and share the memories that, by knowing David, were inevitably bestowed.

David's family have requested charity donations to David's nominated charity - Self Help - rather than flowers for his funeral. 'Self Help' is an Irish organisation that teaches Africans to become self-sufficient. They will set up a fund in memory of Dave and all the funds will go towards one specific project.
